    Inspired by the success of other organizations on Cellphonetradeins.com, the Kennedy's Disease Association (KDA) will be joining the list of options for charitable donation. Starting next month visitors to cellphonetradins.com will be able to donate the value of any cell phone or iPod to promote medical research to find a cure for Kennedy's Disease.

    Patrons will find KDA along side the ASPCA and Sierra Club when they choose to donate there mobile device.

  • Sept. 21st, 2007 Flipswap Gets Greener

    In a continuing effort to "go green," Flipswap recently unveiled several company-wide environmental initiatives.

    This week, Flipswap instituted an inventory proccess that will reduce the company's paper consumption by more than half. The new policy began as an employee suggestion at an informal meeting. Within days, Flipswap was able to act on the suggestion and reduce the amount of paper waste the company produces.

    Past Flipswap green initiatives include the installation of energy efficient lighting and an early summer work schedule to cut down on energy costs.

  • July 26th, 2007 Charities added to CellPhoneTradeIns.com

    Flipswap, in partnership with InPhonic, added donation options to CellPhoneTradeIns.com. Consumers can now donate the proceeds of their used phones to a number of charities, including the Red Cross, Lance Armstrong Foundation, and the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation.

  • May 19th, 2007 TMS launches Flipswap in 3 markets

    The Mobile Solution launched Flipswap in 3 markets, with plans to roll out the trade-in program to all markets by the end of August.

  • March 5th, 2007 RetailiQ 3.2 to feature Flipswap technology

    The Flipswap feature is integrated directly into the RetailiQ system, so using it is a simple point-and-click process. Customers can get a discount off a new handset by trading in their old one. In the end, the customer gets a deal and the retailer closes a sale. It's a win-win situation..
